WEEKEND AND THANKSGIVING UPDATES FROM CB

Update for Weekend and Week of 11/25

Happy Friday Team, Here is a run down of training options for the weekend. Remember most of our runners are in taper for races coming up in the next two weeks and our triathletes are in recovery mode for off-season. 

SATURDAY TRAINING OPTIONS:
RUN/WALK:
Saturday (11/23) we will meet at Dunkin Donuts at 5:15am ready to run at 5:30am sharp! All runs are to be done at Long Run Pace which is 90secs to 2min per mile SLOWER than Goal Race Pace. If you have any questions about this, please text or email me.
Distances:
Space Coast Full - 14 miles and Half - 6 miles. 
OUC 5k - 3miles, Half - 8miles. 
WDW Full - 14miles and WDW Half - 6miles.
Everyone else training for end of Jan/Feb races 4miles.

BIKE:
Saturday (11/23) we will meet at Lake Nona YMCA at 6:45am rolling at 7:15am sharp! 
This is a zone 2 recovery ride.
Distances:
2014 Short Course - 15miles
2014 Intermediate Course - 20miles
2014 Long Course - 25miles

SUNDAY TRAINING OPTIONS:
All athletes - Recovery Run/Walk 3miles. 

Week of 11/25 Schedule:
Mon and Wed - 530am Group Swim Lake Nona YMCA
Tues - 530am Group Indoor Cycle and Functional Strength Lake Nona YMCA
Tues - 630pm Group Run Lake Nona YMCA Bus Loop

Thursday (11/28 Thanksgiving morning) we will have a light easy run/walk, more of a holiday social . Meet at Panera at 6:15am ready to go at 6:30am. Long Course athletes will run/walk 4miles and short course athletes will run/walk 3miles. This is a SOCIAL Run/Walk - Wear your team colors for photo ops. We will have stay at Panera for snacks afterwards for anyone interested.

Friday the YMCA is only open 8-5 so we will not have AM GRID.
